    Sad thing as he was one helluva pitcher in his prime and apparently a very good family and 
    community guy.
    As a private pilot and former plane owner, I can understand his love of flying. 
    But unfortunately even though this particular plane was very safe if flown safely it
    was marketed based on excitement and thrills.  That sadly encourages pilots to sometimes
    push the plane past its or their own capabilities. Only 23 of these planes have been sold
    and already 3 have crashed.  
    If you have a friend or family member who wants to take you up in his or her private plane,
    just be sure they are very safety oriented and don't want to show you the "thrills" of flying
    in a small plane.
