    Q to the Rockies

Post by Deplorable Mark on Tue Apr 11, 2017 8:08 am

the rumor rags now speculate that the Rockies may be looking for pitching this summer and just might have the prospects the White Sox want.

Now the problem is, the Rockies farm is top heavy in pitching prospects.  What the White Sox really need is hitting

Their best hitting prospect is 20 yr old Brendan Rogers who projects as either a 2B or 3B.  His strength is hitting for power.

After Rogers, would be 23 yr Raimel Tapia.  An OF that bats lefty and hits for high average.  Tapia should be MLB ready this year.  Tapia ranks as #87 baseball prospect according to MLB

If Quintana could land these two and a pair of 19 years outs, 3B - Tyler Nevin (son of Phil) and OF Pedro Gonzlaez, I would do it.  Although I would do the Pirates Austin Meadow first if given the choice

Throw Murph in to sweeten the deal for Colorado!
They can use another 60 something fan.

Rogers and Tapia seem enough for me, but if Rox are feeling generous, Ryan McMahon would be a nice add.

    MURPH THE SFOD PRESIDENT

Coors Field doesn't need a retractable roof.

Murph needs a new audience.  Denver sounds good.

He could bring Howie and Lindberg with him.
