    What is Alexi Ramirez worth?

If the White Sox are really in a severe downturn, this had better be Ramirez last spring with the club. He is now on the wrong side of 30 and is about to enter the expensive part of his contract. Throw in that he peaked as a rookie, 2012 is the time to trade him. His value isat a peak right now and hopefully he could bring in at least 2, maybe 3 top prospects.

Luckily for the White Sox, he is barely over 30, his contract isn't ridicously over priced and he looks like a better hitter than he really is due to playing SS. Any contender with an SS problem would love a Ramirez who should have at least 3 good years left. Unfortunately, the Sox have at least 3 bad years left thanks to Dunn & Rios

Agreed. Ramirez, Konerko, Peavy if healthy, Thornton, Crain all are mid-2012 trade bait
