30 for 30 and baseball Michael

I caught about 10 minutes at the end of the episode dedicated to Michael Jordan's attempt at becoming a baseball player.  One comment made by JR struck a chord.  He mentioned that he knew Michael would return to basketball if the baseball players were on strike in 1994.  He knew, and Michael publicly stated, that he'd never cross a picket line and become a replacement player.  I don't remember the details of the strike but as I recall JR was as heavy handed of all the owners.  Makes me wonder if by his being heavy handed with baseball, he was also attempting to manipulate the basketball world and get his King (and king money maker) back into the sport he owned.
