This could make for some very interesting television. Many want to go to spring training (I sure did) to be able to not only see, but to hear, what goes on during a game. Tomorrow may be a great chance to witness this. We should be able to hear more than ever before if things are set up as normal. Instead of crowd noise, we might hear what the players yell to themselves, and what managers yell to the players on the field, etc.

Looking forward to it.  (Hope it is televised downstate.)

It's on Channel 50 in Chicago, I'm sure MLB Network will be cutting into the game if they arent televising it nationally.

Will the jumbotron be on? Will they play music? Will the players showboat if there are no fans?

Gonna take awhile for things to get back to any semblance of normal at Camden Yards.

The Orioles are going to play their next home series (starting tomorrow) against the Rays in Tampa Bay.

Baseball has always claimed to be America's game.

Well today's game between the Orioles and White Sox represent everything that is going wrong with America.

From the decline of values to PC lunancy to corporate greed to government overreach to being scared of our collective shadow.

And the left hand points to the right hand as the right hand points to the left hand; yet if you look closely enough; both hand are just out begging for money and votes so they can maintain their life of luxury.

Could not find the game being televised down here.  Could you hear a lot of the game noise instead of crowd noise?

I only watched the first inning and, typically, the female teachers wouldn't be quiet for 2 minutes so I could hear. However, I did hear the walk up music and the announcer.

So if a team falls apart in a ballpark and no one is thre to see it, does it still count in the loss column?

The poster formerly known as KARK is the most middle of the road politically on this board.

For example, I believe abortion is acceptable under the following 3 conditions:
    1) rape or incest
    2) life of the mother
    3) I'm the father

The White Sox clinched a sub 500 April, thereby violating 2 very important rules of thumb.

    1) Take charge of the division early
    2) You can't win with 2 losing months.  The Sox can't have another losing month and we all know how this team tends to have a long slump sometimes after Aug 1st.

I should note, the 1983 White Sox violated both rules.  But then, the rest of the AL West had a losing record that year.

anyway, who needs the White Sox when you can watch America's real sport anytime, anywhere, for just $9.99 a month
