    Stiff alert! Danger, Will Robinson!

Oh, no!  Belisario is back on the market!
    From Rotoworld.com:

"Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 reports that the Blue Jays' minor league contract with Ronald Belisario has fallen through. The deal was reported by multiple outlets on Thursday, but something happened and the two sides were unable to complete it. Belisario had been set to earn $1.7 million assuming he made Toronto's Opening Day roster, but he's now back on the free agent market. The reliever held a 5.56 ERA with 47 strikeouts over 66 1/3 frames for the White Sox last season."

Yeah. I probably wouldn't even trust him to grade a three question True/False test.

    STIFF ALERT CANCELLED! cheers

    From Rotoworld.com:

"Rays signed RHP Ronald Belisario to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Belisario was close to a deal with the Blue Jays Thursday -- to the point that some media outlets were reporting the deal was completed -- before that fell apart. He struggled with the White Sox last season but should have a chance to win a job in a wide open Rays bullpen."

Speaking of STIFFS, I just heard an interview with Gordon which aired this week.  Gordon has some idea that he is going to PLAY A LOT. Subbing at 2B, SS and 3B.  He made it sound like something like 4 or 5 games a week.

    IS THIS GUY ON ACID????

What team in the history of MLB just sat regulars once or twice per week to let some .230 batting SUPER SUB have playing time???

WHAT IN THE HELL IS HE EVEN DOING BACK HERE?

UNLESS Micah Johnson sparkles in Spring Training, you can bet Beckham will be the starting 2bman.........

John, Gordon Beckham may be the Sox starting second baseman when the season opens, but he's going to have to maintain a better than .250 batting average or risk being pulled.  He's not likely to have the same luxury that he has had in previous seasons of playing through prolonged slumps.  It's either produce or grab some bench.

John, do you have ONE REASON why starting Gordon Beckham at 2B is a GOOD thing?  Besides your man-crush and clothing investment?

    Here are 3 good rasons

1). Makes more sense to have Bonaduce platoon at 3B based on lefty righty splits
    2) Sanchez appear to be less of a hitter than Beckham, and would probably drive the interstate if he plaed full time
    3) Is Micah Johnson ready?

Sure Beckham is like replacing your 325lb girlfriend with a 250lb. Sure its still fat & ugly, but it is still an improvement

    This is a joke.
Japan did NOT sign a real #2 Pitcher (#1 on some teams) and a #1 Closer during the off-season.

Take a chill pill and watch the last day of football.......ST is in the air as of tomorrow!

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are a lot more important than Spring Fucking Training.

SOMEONE NEEDS TO TALK TO THE BULLPEN COACH AND POINT OUT HOW RETARDED 12 AND 13 MAN STAFFS ARE

HILLARIOUS HOW ALL THE BECKHAM HATERS WON'T SAY A DAMN THING ABOUT GUYS LIKE SURKAMP OR GUERRA OR A RETURNING INJURED NATE JONES.

THOSE ARE THE TYPE OF PLAYERS BECKHAM WILL FORCE BACK TO CHARLOTTE.

THAT IS WHY BECKHAM HELPS THE SOX.  IN FACT, I SAY THE SOX NEED ONE MORE PLAYER BETTER THAN CARLOS SANCHEZ THAT CAN HELP OUT IN THE MIDDLE INFIELD

5-6 MAN BENCHES ARE BETTER THAN 7-8 MAN BULLPENS
