Game's at 1.  They'll let us in the lot at 9?  Lot C is where?  Is that west of the old home plate?  I was at the fest two years ago but missed last year's.  Shit, if we can get in at 9, bring a skillet and let's cook up some eggs.  Bloody Mary's for everyone.

Here's a map of the lots at Sox park. In case.

Slight change. The lots open two hours before game time. So I won't be there until 10:30. If you are there at 9, you can stake our claim.

Well, the results were typical Nomadsfest. It looked like maybe they would come back, but Mr. I Don't Know How To Operate A Bullpen Venura, blew through his in the first 9 innings, then, inexplicably, left Robertson sitting in the pen, allowing Dan Jennings to give up the game-winning home run.

That being said, we had the usual great time in probably the hottest Nomadsfest ever. Bobby brought some of Pennsylvania's finest brews (thanks for letting me keep the leftovers); Frank Bonifacic brought some New Glarus beers as well as some great Italian sausages; Rob let Zak have a taste of Malort, assuring the boy will never drink; Telefrank refused the Malort as usual; JoePoe brought 3/5ths of his lovely family; Peg got her ring, and while cheesy, it was a pretty nice reproduction (I won't let her wear it in public); and Steve Ochoa met us at the seats for a couple of innings, with his wife, proving that she is the smartest person involved, stayed in the cool confines of the Stadium Club.

Zak said that the Malort made the muscles in his face go into some kind of convulsions.

I thought it was pretty good too when Aloha gave me some a few years back. I've been trying to find it whenever I get back to Chicago but nobody seems to carry it.

Binny's does carry it. It's tough to find though...probably by design.
