    Closer

I could live with Belisario being our fallback as closer if Lindstrom falls apart or keeps sucking.  He's looked nasty for a solid month now.  I wonder if he's been tried as a closer before.

If Lindstrom falls apart? Lindstrom is like a house built of sand!

Look for them both to be dealt at the deadline. Lindstrom is still a decent 7th inning guy.

Lindstrom is a decent batting practice pitcher.

Assuming he didn't blow out an Achilles on that bunt last night....

If Lindstrom sprained his ankle, the Sox will surely rest him until he's 100%.  He's much too valuable to risk further injury. Rolling Eyes

That was more than a sprain........even "Rockin" Robin said "It doesn't look good".
Time for a Polish closer, or The Prosecutor?

Did Robin say that he'd give him a day off?  If so, he'll be out there pitching tonight, maybe with crutches. Rolling Eyes

Sox need a polished closer, one with experience.

You know that wasn't my doing. I thoroughly enjoyed him trotting out there and throwing batting practice in the 9th inning.
