How's this for a AA debut:

4-6, double, 3 runs, and the game winning walk off hit in the 11th inning. No errors either.

Can he play centerfield and lead off?

Hope not. Sox don't seem to care for people who can play centerfield or lead off.

Beckham probably can't play CF, but Jordan Danks may be that guy in a couple years. He was single short of hitting for the cycle last night.

Beckham went 2-4, and is now 6-10 for the season.

Who's goofy idea was it to draft the "best athlete" all of those years instead of the "best baseball player"?

    How many errors for Viciedo?

3 errors for Viciedo. I think eventually he'll move to the outfield.

Konerko was a bit of a butcher at 3rd and has acclimated just fine at first base.

I think Brandon Allen will be the Sox 1B in a year or two.

Viciedo does have a good arm. Might be useful in the outfield if stays off the doughnuts.

Beckham was 3-5 with a double and homerun tonight. Currently at .368. Alexei needs to pick it up.

It may just be an adjustment. He started very slow last year also in the first month. Remember?

Yeah, I remember Alexei didn't do anything until the middle of may last year. It's no excuse to suck for 40 games this year. I'm not saying the Sox should replace himm now or anything, but it's not going to fly if he's batting .170 for another few weeks. It's time to perform.
