    What a find

Maybe the league will figure Quintana out, but judging by his first strike approach and the fact he's been mowing down some very good lineups for a while now, I'm thinking they won't.

Did Hawk just forget the out count? "That'll get the job done!" Youkilis fairly routine ball to RF - two out. "I thought it would get over his head".

Nice to see Quintana going so deep in games. In years past, we were happy if we could just get five strong innings out of any kids. And those were few and far in between.

How did the Yankees let this guy get away? Had he been released, or was it a waiver situation where they could not fit him on the roster?

His numbers were never really bad. At the bottom, it shows he was granted minor league Free Agency twice. So probably simply a matter of the Yankees not having room on the 40 man roster. Lucky for the Sox. And GOOD FOR KENNY (or whoever) for going after this kid.

Addison Reed was also as good as I have seen him in the ninth. Maybe the rain helped him, but even if so, good for him for using it to his advantage. What a nice confident look he has. Nice to not see someone looking flustered or lost out there with the pressure on.

Reed had that sort of "You are toast!" look in his eyes. He was sensational today.

Looking like Buehrle's approach. Make 'em hit it.

Sorry I missed it. Sitting here with a few grandkids watching Caillou, Berenstain Bears and the Smurfs. After their mom came home, started to watch golf and look ar schedule on TV to see if they were on tonight. Saw the team handshake. 2 hits for the Rangers is a hell of an outing. Wondered why took out and then I saw pitch number.
